Winning giveaways! No prize?? WHAT!

So far this month I have won 3 giveaways.

1. $75 gift code for 39dollarglasses.com won at Freckleberry Finds
2. $25 Apothica gift code won at Three boys and an old lady
3. Dano Ducki won at Life with two boys

All amazing prizes right? Lets talk about the communication with the COMPANY that is providing the winning prize for number 2. So amazing Apothica is, I have never shopped there but I am so excited to spend this gift code! They were having problems with generating me a code and it took only one day for them to get right back to me with the code and apologies. Such a sweet company because I have waited much much longer for prizes.

Onto number 3. The blogger herself will be mailing me the product and she was very sweet in contacting me and taking my information, I should have this prize sometime next week.

Now onto my favorite. Number 1. The blogger sent the company and ME the email for me winning and the person was suppose to contact me for my information. Well I contacted them TWICE through e-mail and it does not look like I'm getting the gift code at all. No communication, completely avoiding me. Now do I contact the blogger just to let her know about the company not wanting to talk to me or what? I do not at ALL blame this on the blogger, that is not her fault she was hosting the giveaway and the company just didn't want to cooperate in the end with giving out the prize. Such a shame.

What would you do?

  1. Congrats on winning, but I would contact the blogger, in the event she alreasy paid and may be thinking you have your prize. As a blogger I would want to know if the winner of one of my giveaways didnt recieve her prize..

Thats terrible that u have to go through this..

  2. Thank you for the advice. I have sent the blogger an e-mail. So sad for a company to do this.

  3. Speaking as a blogger who hosts giveaways I would contact the blogger because #1 she might have more pull with the company and #2 it will let her know not to work with the company again. I had this happen with my wordlock giveaway and I will never work with them again unless I can directly mail the prize myself. Some companies can be shady. It's sad.

But yay to the great prizes you won and thanks for entering my giveaway! :)
