Skillet Bacon Jam Review

From the company:

what is skillet bacon jam?

we make this bacon spread condiment called bacon jam..you say what?.. that’s right, we use niman ranch bacon and render it down along with onions, balsamic and other spices . It cooks for several hours until it is a perfect blend of smoky, tangy, savory and slightly sweet….basically spreadable bacony goodness!  USDA approved.

I will admit that when I received this in the mail both my boyfriend and I looked at each other with questionable looks. Upon opening and smelling it, yes it was bacon! This bacon jam is made from Skillet Street Food. This is a diner that I would take a road trip for!

With the Skillet Bacon Jam we made Turkey & Muenster Cheese sandwiches. As well as Bacon Cheeseburgers!

We mixed about 2 TBSP of the Bacon Jam into the burger meat. Grilled them and then added cheese and bacon on top. I was worried that it might be too much bacon added but I was wrong. The Skillet Bacon Jam  brought a nice smooth smoky flavor into each bite. The burgers tasted as though they were made in a smoker and we loved that! I high recommend that you check out the other products made by Skillet as well. If you have any questions about the product you can contact them at eat@skilletstreetfood.com
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
