Just Fine The Way They Are Book Review & Giveaway

Let me start off by saying that I love this book! This book follows the construction of the National Road and how it affects different lives around the way. First we met Mr. John Slack, who does not like the road at all, he believed things were Just Fine The Way They Are. Construction of the National Road will affect his tavern and he wants no part of it.

The railroad owners believed they had the best mode of transportation until the Model T proved them wrong. Throughout this book we see how Americans were able to travel more efficiently and how they adapted to the changes. A timeline from 1800s until the present-day. Not only is this a beautiful story but is also a perfect teaching tool for the history of transportation!

In the back of the book it charts the timeline of these events as well as places you can stop and see to learn more about transportation! This is a perfect book for teachers and homeschooling, or if you just want to give your child some extra information. There is also a teachers resource that helps with lesson plans.

You can purchase the book at Amazon or you enter to win a copy here!

I was provided with a copy of the book to review. All opinions are my own, honest and true.
